SMS Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the SMS/text messaging service (“Service”) provided by California Caregivers HomeHealthCare LLC, doing business as California CareGivers (“California CareGivers,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By opting in to receive text messages from California CareGivers, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Program Description
California CareGivers provides licensed in-home senior care services (CA Home Care License #344700010) based in Sacramento, CA. Our SMS Service may be used to send appointment confirmations and reminders, free in-home assessment scheduling and follow-up messages, caregiver visit and scheduling updates, general account and service-related communications, and occasional promotional messages about our services.
You must be 18 years of age or older to use this SMS service.
How to Opt In
You may opt in to receive SMS messages from California CareGivers by submitting your mobile phone number and checking the SMS consent checkbox on our website, including on our Schedule a Free Assessment page, or by otherwise providing your number directly to our staff and verbally consenting to receive text messages.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies depending on your relationship with California CareGivers and the nature of your inquiry or care services. For example, new inquiries may receive a short series of follow-up messages, while active clients may receive periodic scheduling and service-related messages.
Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. California CareGivers is not responsible for any charges incurred by the user from their mobile carrier as a result of using the Service.
How to Opt Out
You may opt out of the SMS Service at any time by replying “STOP” to any message received. Upon receipt of an opt-out request, California CareGivers will promptly cease sending messages to the user, aside from a one-time confirmation that the opt-out has been processed.

Supported Carriers
The Service is available on most major U.S. mobile carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy
Your information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties for marketing purposes.
Disclaimer of Liability
California CareGivers will not be liable for any loss, damage, or inconvenience caused by the use of the SMS Service, including delayed or undelivered messages.
The user assumes all risks and responsibility for the use of the SMS Service.
Changes to These Terms
California CareGivers may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the SMS Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of those changes.

By subscribing to the SMS Service provided by California CareGivers, the user agrees to be bound by these Terms. If the user does not agree to these Terms, they should not subscribe to the SMS Service.
