California Caregivers helped care for my mom when we were in a serious pinch. John came through quickly with understanding our needs (even coming out to meet them) and quickly finding caregivers that made my mom feel comfortable, and allowed me to know she was safe, day and night. We needed care quickly, and at awkward times and had changing schedules. I was not disappointed, even when they had to find someone very-last minute to care for my mom. My mom and dad were comfortable and satisfied and really really enjoyed almost all of the caregivers. (a few were satisfactory, but most were excellent). If my parents had not moved into assisted living, we would still be using California Caregivers. Thanks John and team.!!

My mother has been taken care of by CC and ALL the home care personnel who have taken care of Mom are fantastic! If you would need this type of help for YOU or a loved one, do not hesitate to talk to California Caregiver’s staff and start the process. They are VA approved for veterans and their spouses. We used this service when my mom was looking for a caregiver for her friend. CCG was very responsive and helpful, especially considering the circumstances of her friend. The caregiver has been such a huge help and has been an imperative factor in her friend’s daily life. It’s sad that the friend is going through such hard times but luckily CCG was there to help when it was needed. A+++

Mom has Dementia and is stubborn about living in a Nursing home. The Dementia has not diminished her feistiness. I called California Caregivers for help. Now, mom is comfy at home, thanks to the service of California Caregivers. She lives alone and the Caregivers really help out in making her more alert, making sure she eats and showers and all that good stuff. It helps ease the burden of her grown children too. I have nothing to say about California CareGivers, except good stuff! Mom is happy.

This agency provides in-home care for the elderly. As I am an RN & very picky about the quality of caregivers for my family or friends, I have followed this agencies performance for years. They provide quality professional & friendly services to senior with many home care needs & this agency is ran by a RN w/ many years of experience in hospital emergency services as well as homecare services. Their workers are all trained/experienced & productive. This is my 5 STAR review.

California CareGivers who is based out of the Land Park , Greenhaven area has been an absolute blessing for our family. They have been taking care of my dad, who has Parkinson’s, and the level of care and compassion they provide is truly exceptional. Every caregiver we’ve interacted with has been professional, kind, and genuinely caring–not just doing a job, but forming a real connection with my dad. It gives our family such peace of mind knowing he’s in such good hands.

Alzheimer's and Dementia Care in Sacramento: What Families Need to Know
A diagnosis of Alzheimer’s or dementia often sends families into turmoil. There are so many unknowns, and the symptoms of the disease can strain familial relationships. Many family members think that simple memory loss is a strong sign of debilitating cognitive decline. It is normal, however, for seniors to forget where common household items have been placed. Early Alzheimer’s and dementia sufferers, on the other hand, undergo confusion and often have trouble performing everyday tasks. Additional difficulty with simple math and cognitive reasoning are also signs that a patient could be having more than just a “senior moment.”
Dementia is a blanket term for symptoms that include impaired thinking and memory loss. It can be caused by issues other than Alzheimer’s, including Huntington’s disease, Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease, and Parkinson’s disease. Alzheimer’s is a specific form of dementia that commonly includes diminished speech alongside confusion and impaired thought processes. A dementia finding is a diagnosis of symptoms only. An Alzheimer’s identification gives more insight into the cause.
We are grateful to have a trusted partner in California Caregivers and will continue to recommend them to patients who need a little extra help at home.
